Key Responsibilities
- Website Development: Design and develop responsive, user-friendly e-commerce websites on Shopify, ensuring optimal functionality across all devices.
- Theme Customization: Customize existing Shopify themes and create new themes from scratch to align with brand guidelines and improve user experience.
- Integration: Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance website functionality, including payment gateways and inventory management systems.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and SEO to improve overall performance and conversion rates.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to ensure smooth operation and resolve any technical issues promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement their vision and maintain a cohesive look and feel across the site.
- Maintenance: Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on existing Shopify sites to incorporate new features and improvements.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest trends in e-commerce and Shopify developments to ensure our websites remain competitive.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid programming language.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- (Bonus) Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and conversion rate optimization strategies.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
